Any ideas about what year was the marriage of Alexander Cowie (this looked like Corrie  to me when I first saw it - do you know for a fact it is Cowie?) and Anne? And where? Can't tell from this.

The marriage was in October 1883 in Peterhead, Scotland. I know for a fact that its Cowie, Cowie is a VERY common surname in the area.

'Scotlandspeople' has no marriage of an Alexander Cowie in Peterhead from 1882 to 1884.

The only marriage of an Alexander Cowie in 1883 is to a Catherine Findlay - and that is not in Peterhead - in Aberdeen city.

Do you have the marriage certificate of Alexander and ANne?

Hmmm,looks nothing like Buckie but there is an Alexander Buchan marries an Ann Fowlie in Peterhead 1861.
