Hi my father Albert Sands was from the Rhonda Valley. Today is the anniversary of his passing 20 years ago. He married Mary Rose McMahon (Maura) from Limerick Ireland. His mother was Annie Sands, he had 6 children 3 girls 3 boys. David Kathleen Margaret Sean Maria Dermot. My dad was 64 when he died 1931 to 1995. Trying to find relations in Wales. His sister was Margaret Sands I don't know her married name, he had 4 brothers I think? He had a history of angina and had his first heart attack aged 40 his brothers also had weakened hearts and died relatively young. I do not know their names and would like to contact any of his relation's. Maria Sands, (daughter) I am married but kept my name as all the female children and grand children have all are called Sands.

Patricia (104445) has not been online at RChat for a number of years,  but perhaps Trystan if you were to explain the PM system to hopeful53  the two could be in contact with each other, as I think they would be closely related to each other.

Cheers,  JM

You'll need to make a couple more post on here before being able to send a Personal Message though.

Hi Maria,
  Welcome to rootschat  :)

I have sent patricia (100445)  a personal message to tell her there is a reply to her post.  As you will have seen you normally get notified when there is a reply (but sometimes people turn this off by mistake).  Anyway I sent her a message (to be sure ... to be sure ... on St Patrick's day  ;D )

You must be feeling a little sad on the anniversary of your father's death ... I do hope you get a reply so that your effort has been worth it.  :)

cheers,
   Ros

Thank you Ros for your understanding and contacting Patricia. I am grateful to you. It would be amazing to be in contact with relation's but also to delve back throughout history and locate some ancestors, I'm excited about starting this research, though I know it's along road. Once again Thank You .

hopeful53 - glad to hear that you've made contact with Patricia now. :)

I've also managed to combine the messages to an update username to for her (or Brian)
