Greetings to all,

I have a look-up request for Auckland Archives for my NZ relations Joseph Charles PHILLIPS d.1964 and a Doris Mary Ann PHILLIPS nee Hatcher d.1987 buried at Papakura Cemetery. please check library for B05.44 - Papakura Cemetery.

I am told Joseph and Doris have the same burial record number so are possibly buried in the same plot.

My grandfather's sister Doris Mary Ann Hatcher who was born in 1906 in North Bourke NSW met and married a Joseph Charles Phillips, he was born 1902 in Oamaru NZ.

They were married 28th December 1929 in Bourke NSW, but left Australia to live in New Zealand soon after and never returned.

I would like to find out more about Doris & Joseph, did they have any children or grandchildren please?

Hello Stephen...

You may want to add "Auckland Archives" to the title of this look-up thread. It makes the thread easier to find as newer threads get added on top of it.

It's more than likely that you won't get a reply for a week or two as Auckland Archives aren't visited as often as Wellington.

Sign in to Rootschat, then click on the "modify" button in your original post, then edit the title of this thread in the "Subject" box.
