Wigglesworth/Holmes

Can anybody help me find out what happened to Ellen Wigglesworth and Robert Holmes.
I have a possible birth for Ellen c1803-5 Stainburn and I have a confirmed marriage for her to Robert Holmes.  I have no idea of his age or origins.     They had two children.
William born 10 August 1826 and Eliza born 13 October 1828.

After their marriage and the recorded baptism of their two children - I have no site of them.
They appear not be to on any census -  There are a couple of possibilities for William and Eliza on the 1841 census but they are not together and are tenuous links.,

It does appear that Ellen and Robert died before 1841 but having exhausted the usual sources I cannot find when they died or where.   The marriage certificates for William and Eliza both have Robert Holmes as a Comber and Labourer and neither state Robert to be deceased - but that is not uncommon.    William and Eliza where born in Menston.   

The family have strong connections to the church St John the Divine.

My ggg grandfather, Robert Holmes, born in Appleton Roebuck in 1806 is a bit of a mystery. He married someone and had three children. He was transported to Australia in 1830. Wigglesworth was one of the names I’ve considered as his wife, but I am not positive. Have not been able to trace the wife and three children left behind. He had initials tattooed onto his arm that I suspect were his children’s initials. B, A and W

I wonder whether the B he had tattooed on his arm could have been a badly formed E

Sorry for all of the small messages. I keep thinking of things after I’ve posted. My Robert is listed as being a shepherd (combing the wool?) and farm labourer.
