Hi
If you know her year of birth and her parents names, it may help someone find a death record for her.

Why do you say "former" husband.

Were they divorced?

Hi there,

There are at least two chaps named George Albert HOLT on the index for the Qld Electoral Roll for 1922. They were both in the electorate of Lilley, and the index has them both as enrolling in 1913.

There are two lasses named Margaret HOLT on that index of that particular roll who were also in the electorate of Lilley, enrolling in 1913 also.

Lilley is an electorate in Brisbane, the capital city for Queensland.

Would you have any further information about your Margaret Holt nee Watson please.

Cheers,  JM

Hi, I don't know if it's the right person but I found a Margaret Annie Holt's burial info. She died 12/12/1986 and is buried at the Redcliffe Cemetery Plot No CO1/J15.  I also found a Margaret Holt on Ancestry Australia. She died
23/11/1960. Her parents were James Watson and Margaret Ann Broadhead but I can't verify it on QLD BMD's. Hope it helps. cassco

Just to clarify please.........

George Albert Holt and Margaret Watson came out to Australia in 1919.

She formely lived in Cheshire England.

 George served in WW1.

Then  they came out to Australia on the Zealandic.

They had 3 children once {after?} arriving Marjory, Doris and Stanley.

Is this correct?

Is this ww2 record connected to the family?
