Hi,

I am desperately trying to find the burial location of a relative (my gran's first child who died when she was 2 weeks old in 1946) and I think this might be the correct cemetery, as all my great grandparents are buried here, I believe. I am so amazed and grateful that this thread is still active and that you're doing this work.

I was wondering if you might have a record for a Mary Boyd, died 28 March 1946
She might be buried alongside John Joseph Hughes/Mary Hughes (McGresken/McGrisken) who died 9 April 1924 (100 years ago today!) or Andrew Boyd died 1950s/Janet Boyd died 1910s or 20s.

Any help on any of these names roughly on these timelines would be incredible.

Thanks you so much

Hi Chris......... My family research has sent me your way. I'm wording if you could help me for which i would be so grateful. I'm trying to find where my ancestors are buried.
All I know is that they lived in Coatsbridge, and were Roman Catholic. Their names are Annie McAteer 1880-1907 (nee Herrity) and her son Michael McAteer died 1907 age 0.

They might be buried with Annies 'Herrity' Family. Her parents were Bernard & Annie Herrity (nee McBride).
They were from Donegal, Ireland and emigrated to Scotland either before or after Annie was born.
Fingers crossed! This story is one that means a lot to my family.

Roisin

Hi. I me trying to find graves of two family members. We believe from records they lived and died in Coatbridge area. Both were catholics. Could you check to see if you have them in the lair list please?

Catherine Parker 1869-1942 ,

Hi Roisin, sincere apologies for not seeing this sooner. According to the liar book Annie and Michael were buried two days apart Annie on 5/5/1907 and Michael on 7/5/1907. Unfortunately the book does not record the lair number, so possibly on common ground.

Bernard Herrity (63) was buried on 2 May 1907. again no plot number recorded.
