Elizabeth died 8 Dec 1889 and lair info is unclear but looks like 'Old lair'

I think your right Sancti. Its difficult to make out. It was around 1881 that they stated marking the section as just Lair and not B or D. By 1889 that had almost 30 years worth of burials so they might be referring to sections next to B or D. Its such a shame the recorders became so laxed in detail. The early years the records are thorough and all plot numbers were recorded.

Anyway it shows Elizabeth stayed near my ancestors at 48 Bairds Square in Rawyards.  :D Small world.

I think Williams plot is not recorded. On my excel sheet he doesnt have a plot number. 246 refers to two entries above. However to be absolutely sure Ill need to go back and check when I return home. At his death he was staying in Crofthead near Riggend.

The death cert.definitely says he was residing in Crosshead.He fell off the Yett Bridge and fractured his skull,and wasn't discovered until the following afternoon.

In the meantime,I wonder if there are any Heaneys buried at St.Joseph's?They resided in Lanarkshire,it's just a thought.
