Thanks Chris - that is her. I'll try to visit the cemetery soon and I see there is an archive centre in Motherwell with poor law records for Airdrie so will see if they have her poorhouse record.
Sorry for lack of clarity in last sentence - I don't know Airdrie and just wondered if there are other 19th century buildings etc to see today. I see St Margaret's church has a good website so will take a look at that too.

There's plenty of old buildings in Airdrie town centre. Your best place to start is the Library. Staff there are very helpful. As far as archive material goes contact North Lanarkshire Council Archives.
