Hi Chris...I have just come across your posts and am absolutely fascinated at what you are doing.I travelled to Scotland from Australia in search of my ancestors and when I finally made it to St Josaphs Cemetary Airdrie....darn if it wasn't flooded and I wasn't able to do anything except several recent family gravesites.I was so disasppointed...however, now I have you as an answer to my prayers.I am interested inMcGuiganSmythBurnsQueenMacAuleyCallaghanMarleyDowdallsI think youo are doing a wonderful service and I thank you in advance.....MWAAAAthat was a big kissMorag FryerPerth Western AsustraliaHi Morag. Thanks for the kiss Bear in mind these are from 1860 to 1883McGuigans first (Yellow boxes mean there was no entry made in that field or I could not make out or I was not sure what was recorded.)SmythBurnsQueenMcAuley (no MacAley's recorded) CallaghanMarleyDowdallsNo Dowdall's recorded yetCheersChris
I would be very grateful if you could check if there is a burial record for Mary Lambie/Ferguson/Little who died 7 January 1869.Many thanks.
Thanks for checking for me. I was going to go to the cemetery but as I didn't expect there would be a stone, I hoped the lair book would give me the information I am looking for. I have already checked the stones at Holytown cemetery without success and there isn't a lair book for that time. I guess I may never know.Well done with the job that you are doing!
