Hello Susan, yes it is interesting that jessie, annie and henry all had association with Manatoba. The tract of land that Henry mortaged was described  "parcel or tract of land being in Manatoba north east quarter of section 4, in township 4, and range 16 west of the principal meridian". I dont know if this corresponds with Lowe Farm that you are interested in but if it does it may be a clue.. I know that Henry lost this in 1893, I dont know why, it was a sad year for the family as both his parents Henry and Sarah died that year within months of each other.
My interest in this was that my own brother Henry Brian had a passion for the family history and had done research in the hope of publishing a family chronicle. We lost him in 2002 to cardiac arrest and since then the project has been dormant. Lately I have tried to tie up some loose ends hence the search for Jessie Thomasine whom we had lost trace of after the 1881 census. Your husband is my 2nd cousin. If you know of anyone in the family over there that would have further information about Jessie I would appreciate the contact details. Bye for now, Judith

Hello Judith:  Your message was fascinating and I would like to correspond with you as I have a bit of information that I would like to share with you.  I was wondering if we could message privately, as this format isn't large enough at times.    hope to hear from you soon.  Regards, Susan

Hello again Susan,
I have tried twice to contact you privately  first through my own email and then through this site. Both times the message would not go through. As I am new to this site I do not know what the problem is. I will try again later. Am happy to share any further family info. with you should you need it. Judith

Hi Judith:  The best way to contact me is using the email address I gave and by going through your own email system.  You would leave this site completely and we could correspond off this site.  Hope to hear from you soon.  Susan

Hello Everyone!

I am a new member of rootschat.com and delighted to find Strapps cousins on the website.  My 2xgreat-grandfather was Richard Strapps, the father of Sarah Strapps, who was born in 1839.  Richard married Sarah Burnett about 1829, and they had two daughters, Sarah, bap Aug 29, 1831, and Annie, bap Feb 15, 1834.  Both of them were baptized at Sleaford, Lincolnshire.  I have a great deal of information about the Strapps family in Lincolnshire and would be pleased to share it.

I would also like to know more about the children of Henry Lowe and Sarah Strapps, who immigrated to Manitoba and British Columbia.  I look forward to hearing from possible cousins.

Thank you.

Sylvia Strapps-Coon

Hi Susan, I am very pleased to have your quick reply.  However, I also have trouble navigating this board, so I pressed the Reply button on different message from you, not the one you sent me yesterday.  What do you need to know specifically about the earlier Strapps.  I have traced the family back to Thomas and Mary in Kyme, Lincs.  Their first child was Rose, bap in 1593.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,
Sylvia
