I note you are researching Ward in Derbyshire.

Any further info etc - as I have Wards in my line.

My Wards from the Beighton, Ridgeway, Gleadless area

My grandmother Annie Matilda ward born 1871 married Alfred Kirk
My Great Grandfather David Payne Ward norn Dec 1848 at White Lane Eckington he married Eliza Ellen Twigg at Ridgeway parish Church in 1870
My Great Great Grandfather Henry Ward b 1813 at Beighton/Birley
My Gt Gt Gt Grandfather Samuel Ward b 1777 at Beighton/Birley married Catherine/Cathura Swinnerton 1804 at Handsworth.

Any connection to your Wards??? be glad to exchange info.

Sadly not. My Wards are more mid-Derbys ... North Wingfield / Somercotes area.
