Transcribed as SKUGHAM, image is Skupham and William is down as age 33, birth c 1818 but image is 53, birth c 1797.

SHUSHAM on FindMyPast :)

I would say age was 58, the enumerator closes the bottom loop but leaves the top one open (see examples on following page).
Today I broke my personal record for most consecutive days alive.

MARRIAGE,
William SKUPHAM
Sarah WARD
15 May 1815, Claxby, Lincolnshire

Looks like a possibility as there is a Christening/Baptism, on Familysearch.Org
SARAH Skupham, 19 November 1815, Spalding to WILLM/SARAH
+ MARYANNE, 04 May 1820

I cant say I am 100% sure about this all as I havent found Betseys (Elizabeth possibibly) Christening to William/Sarah but everything else seems to add up.
What do you think Geoff-E?

MARRIAGE,
William SKUPHAM
Sarah WARD
15 May 1815, Claxby, Lincolnshire

What do you think Geoff-E?

Claxby is distant from Spalding :(

Noting that 1851 gives William's birthplace as Cowbit, I think that I prefer
17 May 1814 at Cowbit
William SCUPHOLME (sojourner of Deeping Fenn) to Sarah BARTRAM (of Deeping Fenn)
He and a witness both signed SKUPHAM.

Looks good to me. I defer to your local knowledge.
If dbcmknott wants to confirm the can always purchase James Scuffams Birth Cert 1838
Wait for this one ;D;
James SKEEPHAM, December 1838, Spalding, 14 492

No worries. Names where often mistranscribed or spelt incorrectly :)
Peoples accents made names difficult for the enumerators.
