Hi Pat,

Glad to make contact.  Yes, the entrance to Faircross is directly from the main road between Naas and Newbridge (just as the road becomes four lanes), right next door to Pfizer.  The house is hidden from the road by the tall trees around it.  I do have photos of the house from when my father lived there as a child.  Are you related to the Coffey's who lived there?  James Coffey was the owner of the house and he was married to Mary.  They had two daughters and three sons I think.  My great grandfather was married to one of their daughters (Margaret).  My grandfather grew up at Faircross followed by my father and his sister.

What is your connection to them?

Sylvia

Pat, there is a Floods Cross not too far from there, I can just about remember having it pointed out to me years ago by one of the Flood family, of course he could have been making it up.
