The 1st reference to a Carl Klibbe in Cape Town archive (KAB) is about a mortage bonds in 1890,1891, 1894 and 1897 and the last reference in these archives is:
Depot:KAB
Source:MOIB
Volume:2/3198
Reference:460
Description: KLIBBE, CARL George. Insolvent liquidation and Distribution
Date: 1908-1909.

In the Transvaal archive (TAB) there are 6,of which these are most relevant I think

Depot: TAB

Date:1929

Depot:TAB, Source:MHG, Reference: 75319, Desc: Klibbe, Carl George

Hi,

Get the death notices of Carl and Christina as the children are normally listed on them and take it from there.

Best of luck

This how I see it, Between 1890 and 1897 he applies for mortage bonds in Cape Town, and is declared insolvent in 1909 and then moves to the Transvaal some time later and dies there in 1929 if the archive info is refering to the same person.

"Klibbe was ordained Apostle by letter dated 8 July 1893 by Apostle H F Niemeyer of Queensland, Australia, who had sent Klibbe to South Africa some 4 years earlier."

From http://www.twelveapostlescc.org/History_of_TACC.php They do have a reference list and a contact email so might be able to point to the original?

Though it also says here http://twelveapostlescc.org/cms/init/load_document.php?id=14 that it was in 1893 by a letter from the Apostle College in Europe.
