Hi,

Looking for any information on birth of Luke Ayers born in Longford (I think Longford town) around April/May 1828.  I think his father was William. Luke served in the British army in India and was discharged in 1868. He married Bridget Gill of Carbury Kildare in September 1868. I just found out he was born in Longford so I have no further information. His name of also been recorded as Ayres/Eyres/Eyers
