H. K. Hughes  b abt 1900 Maidstone

I would like to know what H. K. is for and if it is a boy or a girl?
 They where still at Maidstone in 1901 and the child is still list as H. K. Hughes.

That seems likely that she's Hilda Kate Hughes, registered Apr - Jun 1900, district Maidstone, 2a 809
