Cyril and Natalie are listed in City Directories - Erie County 1941 so the marriage was before that date - haven't found it yet.

26th December 1961 Natalie visits Rhode Island where her mother Teresa (Sheehan) Dunn had died after a long illness. (reported in the Newport Rhode Island. Daily News)

29th June 1968 - Newport Daily News reports the death of Mr Edward Dunn, (former basketball star) and father of Natalie Dunn/Crowe.

The Post Standard (Syracuse. New York) reports on December 4 th 1964 in Ithaca that Cyril Crowe aged 52 years of Union Street was charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving while his license was revoked. Cyril was charged with operating a tractor on a highway when apprehended by a trooper. According to the trooper the tractor must be used for farm purposes exclusively and he charged tha Cyril was using it for other purposes. Cyril's license had been suspended sometyime ago on a charge of driving while intoxicated. Cyril had to appear to answer the charge.

Re post possibility that Fred returned to Canada this is a different person there are 3 F W Crowe one from Bucknall , one from Market Drayton the other from Wrexham. I have noticed that people have assumed all three have the same father (Bucknall) I am glad I rejected the information Fred from Bucknall is definitely the right person.

Hi Liz,

Obviously realised after post 9 that your Fred was still in New York, due to the amount of material I started to find on the family and eventually the Obituaries for both Fred and Charlotte.  Hope it all helps create the bigger picture.

Hi there. I know this is incredibly random, but I'm Evelyn Jenkins' great-grandson. I just did a random google search for family history and found this thread. My paternal grandmother was Evelyn's daughter, and that whole part of the family settled in upstate New York. I live outside of Boston now, and Gloria (the grandmother) is living the good life down in Florida.
