The Funeral of The Late
Mr Thos Fitch of Howden
This was a
HUGE funeral with ministers from all over Yorkshire and other religions that travelled to Howden for his funeral as well as giving Pulpit References to him in their own churches.
Businesses in Howden closed for the day as a mark of respect. The write-up makes interesting and humbling reading. Mr Thomas Fitch was held in the highest regard by those of Howden and far away.
I could not find anything regarding Charlie E Fitch, as you have a subscription to the newspapers try searching in the Hull Daily Mail.
