Why are there so many Thomas's and Joseph's, john's and William's in my trees?  If only they were more original with the naming of children.

Need to sit down and make sure I get all of this down on paper, computer programmes make collating the info nice and easy, but its still difficult to picture how it all fits together.

At least in generations to come they will have Charlene's, Mercedes, and all of the "new" made up names to distinguish family. :-X

On the Baptism entries for both William and Elizabeth at Ebchester on the Durham Bishops transcripts it states that their abode is New House in the Parish of Ryton, and that their father was a labourer.

yep, got that one and that's the one I got confused about and was only really looking at he ryton registers when they seem to have been in the ebchester ones.
