Please Help Me Find This Childs Burial
« on: Saturday 03 September 11 00:57 BST (UK) »
Ronald Daniell died 22 March 1902 The Wharf, Birdingbury, Rugby Warwickshire.
Aged 17 months. cause of death Leukemia.  He was in the care of his foster Mother Mary Ann Halford.

I have spoken by phone to Birdingbury, they have no records of his burial, the lady I spoke to said that "The Wharf" was a couple of miles up the road, so he was probably buried in Stockton.

I have spoken to the Council at Stockton, they tell me their records only go back to 1971, as many many records prior to 1971 were lost, the council said to speak to the Church Minister, which I did last night, their records only go back to 1931.

I have spoken to Rugby Registrar, no luck. All these calls are made from Australia to England and costing me a fortune.

So can anyone on the board please help me.

Thanks-Trish

Hi Rosiemagic

Is it possible to check with the Records Office ? The lady I spoke to at the Church residence said that all their previous records would have been sent to the Records Office.

Thank-Trish

Thank you RM, your help is greatly appreciated.

All the information I have is as above, he was in the care of his foster Mother Mary Ann Halford, but it also mentions on his death certificate "Son of Annie Daniell Hospital Nurse".

The last person I spoke to last week with was a lady at the Rectory of the local church, she said all their record pre 1931 are at the records office.

Thanks Again-Trish

Hi Trish,

Sorry I haven't been to the records office yet, I now have a list of my ancestors - and your record - which I need to look up.
Bear with me, I'll go as soon as I can :-)

Hi,

I can't help with where, but Rosiemagic being in that area can tell you where he was buried, but Ancestry have put Warwickshire records online and there was this

Ronald Daniell of Birdingbury Wharf buried 27th March 1902 aged 17 months.
Entry made by F W Barrows, rector, Birbury.

Claire, thanks so much for this information greatly appreciated.

Yes I was hoping Rosiemagic was going to be able to tell me where, I'a sure when she has time she will slot it in.

Thanks again :)
