Eastbourne Parish Lookup, please (I know the exact date)
« on: Thursday 01 September 11 01:50 BST (UK) »
I'm looking for someone to check the original register for Eastbourne St. Mary for me, please. It's the marriage between Margery Frankwell and Mr Sinnock on 11 Oct 1649.

The Sussex Family History Group transcript have the groom's forename as Charles. Family Search has Chas. But I'm rather hoping that both are transcription errors and it's actually Elias.

Is there any chance someone could take a look for me next time they're in the Record Office? Thanks in advance.

PS - When looking at the 17th century baptism records for Hailsham, I came across the most uniquely and appropriately named child I've ever seen! Anyone like to take a guess??? I'll give you a clue: she was the baseborn daughter of Anne Clever.
