There is a publication "Immigrants Recruited by the Launceston Immigration Aid Society 1855-1862" by Kevin Green, but this is very northern Tasmanian based and I couldn't see the names you mentioned in the listings.  Have a look, it might be useful for reference.

TANISH, Elizabeth, born c.1842 emigrated to Tasmania c1854.  Her sister Janet (aged about 23) also believed to have emigrated at same time.
