Broomhead drive was possibly once known as low beveridgewell, if you check a map for the area you will see that broomhead runs along the bottom, then one street up is mid beveridgewell then another street up is high beveridgewell. The street has changed somewhat though there is a house that sits near the bottom which could be the house you mentioned.
