My great grandmother died in the workhouse abbeyleix 1913 she was 36 her name was Margaret rafter born miney I know they closed the workhouse in 1920's what a sad life they had back then  they had no choice to live like that god bless them all who lost there family's  in all those workhouses  rest in peace 🙏
