There seems to be conflicting ages for Daniel, do you know when he would have been born?

I have found out he died around 1948, but I do not know when he was born...

Well there is definitely more than one Daniel Kalcher. They may or may not be related. I think we have to wait to see what details the Daniel you are interested in gave about his father (may or may not have to take it with a 'pinch of salt') on his marriage certificate.
