Hello again

I was going through more papers and pictures that where my grandmas and grandpas and found a picture of my grandma standing infront of an iron gate that had the Trunks name on it which was the entrance to a graveyard/ cemetry. I know that the picture was taken when she was in England in Bridgewater back in 1998 ish. Was hoping that someone might know this cemetry and what the name of it is called?

There are a few mariners in the family, born Bridgewater Somerset, besides the father Joseph and your Joseph...in 1881 on the Ark with a George b. 1847 ,  brother Noah a mate also in Wales, brother Walter b.1863 is on the Thorney with father Joseph,  and a John b.1825 ( uncle?) is on the Bulldog, and John & Jery sons of Jeremiah are both mariners at home

Oh, even better, if you haven't found this yet! 300 vessels and 35,000 names, for ships which have visited the port of Bridgwater, Somerset. http://www1.somerset.gov.uk/archives/ go to Online catalogue & indexes
How fabulous that the ages/d.o.b. are on there as well!!!
so there was also an Albert, Bertram, Frederick, Henry, Herbert, James, josh & brother Peter who were also mariners...
Lots of Duddridge, Palmer & Spriggs as well!
Just thought out of interest you may enjoy seeing these and also may find out more about your family as well... J.J.

P.S. remember that some of these had several middle names so may have gone by a middle name  (   ...Peter George P.H. Trunks b.1880...and also to Jos. & Eliz. Shem H J P Trunks b.1866 christened Shem Ham Japheth Palmer Trunks  / Peter George Palmer Trunks chr. 1862)
( Oddly there are 2 Christenings for a Shem  http://www.rootschat.com/links/0h1g/

;D shem ham and japheth are Noah's children from the Old Testament ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sons_of_Noah

Also look under Trunes on the FreeBMD as there looks to be another Shem Ham listed ( as She* Ha* J Trunes)

Oh wow awsome.

Alot of those names are familiar as I have been emailing a relative in Bridgewater england and had another about 10 years ago sent my grandfather part of his tree which actually matches mine.

Thanks for the website!
