Robert Sander

I am looking for information on a Robert Sander 1851 and 1861 he lived in Dacre and was a farmer. Does anyone know a) how to find out if he owned the land he farmed and b) How he died?

Probate record 10 June 1864,

Robert Sander. Effects under £600,

Letters of administration of the personal estate and effects of Robert Sander late of Stainton in the parish of Dacre, Cumberland Farmer who died 16 Dec. 1863 at Stainton aforesaid were granted at Carlisle to Sarah Sander of Stainton, widow the relict of the deceased, she having been first sworn.

The will of Sarah Sander late of Penrith, Cumberland who died 1 July 1874 at Penrith was proved at Carlisle by John Liddell Sander of 58 Welcome Street Hulme Manchester, Joiner the son  and John Atkinson of Stainton in parish of Dacre, miller, the executors.
