Hi angie6141
Nothing obvious showing up.
Can you give us the 1901 census reference or address that you are using?

hi the date of birth came from the marriage cert as he was 20yrs old in 1918 .he married in Bristrol but was born in london as his Son who is wanting to find out about his side of the family. so as the only person who was a house painter and named charles l thought l would hope to have a break through as l can't find frederick living with a charles as a father in 1901/1911 am told that his father stayed in london?

So, the marriage cert gives his address at the time of marriage as only 'London' or does it give a full address?
and the Charles you found in 1901 gives his place of birth as Bishopsgate,
so you don't know exactly where Frederick was born?

frederick was married in bristrol. Charles was said to have been born in Bishopsgate yes. my friend who is eighty two says that his dad was born under the sound of the bow bells but he says he doesn't know where. so there are a few fredericks born at that time dosen't help.
sorry if this is confusing
