Hi, Ivy Mullan moved to the States after marrying Barney Mcnellis, think its spelt that way, anyway she is my aunty, my mum is her eldest sister named Mary but better known as May. The other sisters are Pearly and Violet and the brothers were Tommy who was killed in World War 11, Willy and Hugh. Unfortunately only Violet, Ivy and my mum May are still with us. If you would loke more info please let me know, by the way May will be 93 in about 4 weeks time.

Hi Steven,
I am new to RootsChat and was running thru the messages and came across a couple from you. I knew your dad and your uncle Tommy very well as they were my cousins. I used to stay with them in the old prefab house in the Upper Malone road tho you wouldn't recognise the place now.

Hi Bryan
Steve has not been active on Roots for almost a year and Ivy's grandson (Norcicolo) almost 2 years. I have been researching my family tree on/off for 10 years and still trying to find family relations.
I am your mums cousin, my mother Mamie was granda Tom's youngest of 12. I am sure your mum can fill you in. I last saw your mum 2007 when I was last in Ballymena and visiting Violet. I have been living in Australia for over 30 years.  I remember you, Eileen & Lorraine from a long time ago. If you feel we can share info please keep in in touch. Regards to your mum

Hi Steve, Hugh Mullan is my grandfather, I was just looking things up and found this site. Hugh is my father's father, but then my father was adopted into another family when he was very young him and his younger sister. I have bits and pieces of information and a photograph of Tam Mullan my great grandfather and six of his sons in Cromkill Orange Lodge LOL 543. My grandfather is on the far right, Hugh Mullan.

I also have got a photograph of Cromkill LOL 543, Tam Mullan, my great grandfather is in the middle and his sons, my grandfather Hugh Mullan is on the far right.

Mt grandfather Hugh Mullan was wounded in the battle of the Somme 1st July 1916

My father's name was John and his sister was called Doris, they were adopted into two different families when they were very young. Hugh Mullan was their father and the mother was Ellen Clarke he must never have married Ellen Clarke. My daddy John was born on 17/10/1937 and Doris was born in January, 1940.
