« on: Monday 22 August 11 21:34 BST (UK) »
Hi All, I recentley found this photo under the stairs in an empty house I was working in, in Catford South East London. Stuffed inside the back of the frame was part of a Newspaper Dated 2nd May 1919....

Any Idea's ??

its a lovely jolly photo

does it give any clues to the house you were working in? steps up to the front door maybe?

what was the address maybe we could find it in the directories for 1919

is the newspaper relevant do you think ? is it just stuffed there or purposely put there ? is there an article in the newspaper it could relate to ?

I was going to say late 40s or early 50s :)

Definitely not 1919, so they were using a very old paper in the frame - perhaps there was an older photo in the frame that they took out to put this one in.

Looks like a children's party - perhaps at a school, or a children's home?

I wore shoes like the girl near the front of the photo, so 1940's no later than 1955.
Oooooh, did I just give away my age?
