What did he do?
« on: Monday 22 August 11 16:39 BST (UK) »
This an occupation from the 1871 census.  George was a wheelwright 10 years earlier, but I can't decipher this.
Godden in East Sussex, mainly Hastings area.
Richards in Lea, Gloucestershire, then London.
Williamson in Leith, Vickers in Nottingham.
Webb in Bildeston and Colchester.
Wesbroom in Kirby le Soken.
Ellington in Harwich.
Park, Palmer, Segar and Peartree in Kersey.

It couldn't be Circular Sawyer,  could it?

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Must admit, for a couple of seconds I was wondering what on earth a circular lawyer would do!

And I have to admit that my first reaction was Circular Manager  :P Until I worked out the individual letters.
