James Erskine b 1841, d 1907 and his wife Agnes Brown b 1838, d ?
John Stewart b 1868, d 1952 and his wife Catherine Erskine b 1869, d 1956
William Stewart b 1839, d ? and his wife Helen Scott b 1841, d 1925
Helen Forrester b 1808, d 1883
Henry Forrester b 1766, d 1834 and his wife Janet Irvine b 1784, d 1871
John Stewart b 1819, d 1878 and his wife Isabella Davidson b 1815, d ?

Sorry it's a long list, but the Erskine and Forrester families were large.

Thanks for your reply.  I have all the Census information etc and would have thought they would be in Lochgelly cemetery.  My husband has a photo of his grandfather's headstone, but he was more recent - 1966.  Would there have been another cemetery nearby, or could they still be in Lochgelly but simply no headstone?

Hi again there is a cemetery at Bowhill which is about a mile away
but I'm also checking that but yes your right there just could be no stone

Doing a bit more research, and finding that a number of the ones I asked about seem to have died in Kirkcaldy (even though they lived in Lochgelly).  That probably explains why they're not buried in Lochgelly cemetery.
