I am looking for a William GUTHRIE died 27 Jan 1915 Lochore, Age 79
his wife  Catherine GLASGOW died August 4 th 1890 Lassodie.
or any other GUTHRIE'S he had 9 children all engaged in coal.

Hi Angus  sorry nothing on William & Catherine in my index
yes I do see they had a number of Children in the 1881 Census
in Beath.
My index is based on 2 names
 eg Charles Guthrie & Barbara Thomson.
let me know who the children married & I will check for them

Charles GUTHRIE B 1862 and his wife Rachel YOUNG are buried in Beath cemetery
he died 1922 she died 1941. I have my own photos.

Other children of William GUTHRIE & Catherine GLASGOW were

Alfred       born 1889 Lassodie d 31 Oct 1940 AT 64 Leys Park Rd., Dunfermline
                              he was 54 yrs old Single. Labourer
                               Buried Beath Cemetery  Book 2 Page 79 Entry #79 Lair 587 ss
Interment date 2 November 1940
seen by Angus June 2007 at Dunfermline Crematorium.


I don't know who Barbara Thomson is maybe a wife?

Would be greatfull for any information and Photos

I have a death record for Agnes Smith Lawson stating she died in Cowdenbeath, Beath, Fife 1874. Is she recorded in the records. I am visiting the area in Feb. Will I be able to find her grave? She is my great great great grandmother. Also looking for other family members buried there

Hi Julia  sorry I have not photographed Beath Cemetery

Beath Cemetery( Old )  is very large and and has many stones, remember not all that were buried erected Headstones

Using the form below you can contact Margaret Lyle at Dunfermline Crematorium
She can check details of the burial in Beath cemetery, but you must give as many
details as possible date of death name ( married & maiden  name ) tell you intend to visit February  and can she give you the location of the grave in the cemetery

but I have not photographed Beath Cemetery

you said I don't know who Barbara Thomson is maybe a wife?

In memory of Robert PENMAN died 21.2.1966 age 70
wife May FRASER died April 1975 age 82?
His sister Mary PENMAN died 1993

Laura who are you looking for I have about 80 Headstones that list FRASER
but I need the 2 names eg  Robert Penman & May Fraser
if I have the 2 names it takes no time to check index
