Hi,

I am looking for McNeil family, in particular Daniel McNeil (born in Ireland) born 1929 died 1891 and Mary McNeil (born Scotland don't know Maiden name yet) born 1834 died 1887. Lived in Glasgow, Scotland. Not sure if they are buried at Lochgelly???

Many thanks

Liz

Hi Liz   sorry nothing in my index or in Lochgelly Cemetery,
if they died in Glasgow in 1891 its is unlikely they would have been brought
back to Lochgelly to be buried.

Hi Norrie
I was wondering if any of these names appear in your records of graves in Lochgelly Cemetery.
Archibald Cook 10 April 1810-29 Jul 1867 and wife Isabella Sunter 1810-1857

His sister Catherine Cook 1808-1881 and husband James Muir ?-1857.
Their children Marion d. 1863, Montgomery d 1868 (married cousin James Cook and          of them when asked you to search them last year!) Thomas ,James ,David 1844-1857.

            His brother William Cook 1814-1878.

Any help would be great Norrie. I haven't had much luck in locating graves of people in my family tree from the places you hold records on! These ancestors of mine must be buried somewhere!
Thanks
Christine

Hi Christine sorry  nothing on the above in my records, don't think this cemetery was being used for burials in 1860,there was a small cemetery at the church but I have no records for there.
nothing for Catherine & James Muir
