My grandfather was in the same regiment and came from Slade Green. He was in the 13th "Wandsworth" battallion. Do you have a photo of William COVILL as I have a very nice platoon photo of him but I do nor know who else is in it or when and where it was taken .

Mr Finn, my grandfather was Ernest, William's brother.  He also served with The East Surreys, 1st battalion.  Fought at Mons, Marne, Elouges.  I don't have a photo.  Do you have one of William, your greatgrandfather, with his brothers?
