Could anyone possibly help me fill in the gaps on my Bl(o)omfield line please. I'm stuck at:

Thomas Bloomfield (or Blomfield)
b 1848  d 26 feb 1924
In Holton St Mary, Suffolk

Married to

Eliza Ann (Allen)
b 1844   d 15 Aug 1922

Children

George
Harry
William
Bloomfield,Blomfield,De Blonville,De Blondevill,Blonvyle,Blomefylde

Hi

Can you clarify exactly what information you still need and what you already have so we don't duplicate?

For example - Do you have them on any census showing where they were born?

Do you have a copy of their 1872 marriage cert showing their respective fathers names

That's great.  So what info are you still looking for?  There is this IGI entry which suggests he may have been illegitimate

Thats great Carol, many thanks for that. I wonder if Mary was a Miss or Mrs? if that was her Maiden name then i would like to try and trace her line back. If she was using a married name then i guess im a bit stuck.

Would you happen to know any more details about Mary?

I suspect she was unmarried - have a look at this 1851 entry for Holton.  All children b Holton and all are unmarried

This is great thank you all so much for your help.

Its brilliant and exciting finding all this info out!   I wonder where my line fits into the big picture with the Yaxley, Newton or other Norfolk and Suffolk lines?
