1901 census lookup request for Daniel CARTON and family in Paddington
« on: Wednesday 17 August 11 14:34 BST (UK) »
Hi I would be very grateful for an address in 1901 for this family please. I know they are in Paddington in 1901.
Daniel/Dan Carton born appx 1850 Middx Greengrocer and his children Edward/Timothy, John, Dan/Daniel and Mary Anne. They are actually my Caton family but have ended up 1901 as Carton.
Would be very grateful for any help
Many thanks
Pat

Hi
I am grateful for all the help. I did not cast doubt on the transcriber. That was not my posting. All I know is that their name is Caton.
Thanks everyone
Pat

I wasn't trying to cast the transcriber in a bad light - just stating facts.
If I thought the transcription was wrong, I would have sent a notification to FindMyPast - as I do 3 or 4 times per month! ;D

I find that FindMyPast are very good at correcting genuine mistakes. And very quick, too!!
