Hello Joyce, I have no idea why they left Belle settle. My cousin commented on here earlier and she has done more research than me on the family. My dad died several years ago and I always regret not asking more questions about the family! If I find out more I will let you know.
 My memories of Uncle George are faint but I remember going over to the house and reading the Sunday post comics!
