Hi Mr G, ;D

thank you for all your recent help. ;D I'm about to return the favour. ;D

I've had a look at the grave inscriptions you found in Longney Churchyard for George H Meadows and his wife Alice.  I'll have to take you back another generation to explain who they are. The top of your Meadows tree shows John Meadows c1789 - the father of your Jesse Meadows. Here are John's parents and siblings -

Hi Mr G ;D

that was a very long answer to a short question. ;D The grave in Longney Churchyard is your Meadows family.

George H Meadow's father Charles and your Jesse Meadows were cousins.

Hi Graceland,

the John Meadows you found in Moreton Valence Churchyard and Eli Meadows, aged 22 years, buried at Longney  are from the same family. John's father was Eli's brother. I am sure they are your Meadows but you will need to check at the records office for the missing link. There are a lot of Meadows in Longney, they all lived close to one another and the same names occur in every family.

Christening at Longney

James Meadows 23rd May 1802
Mother: Hester Meadows ( the missing link)

Marriage at Longney 26th Sept 1833
James Meadows
Sarah Smith

Christenings at Longney    James Meadows & Sarah

Catherine Hester Meadows   5th Jan 1834
Emanuel Meadows                 29th May 1836

Lorenzo Meadows                  8th Mar 1841
Edmund Meadows                 14th Jan 1844
Eli Meadows                             5th Feb 1848
