Certainly don't think it would refer to an Orange Lodge!

Is there a big house in the area? if so, could 'Lodge' refer to its gatelodge?

Checking the list of townlands in Kinawley civil parish there's a Cloghoge (which might rhyme with lodge)- in Co. Cavan, Bawnboy Poor Law Union/registration district.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Kinawley is correct name for the parish in Fermanagh

Kinawley is the name of the civil parish and the R.C. parish spelling is Kinnally.

You can see from the map that Kinnally Parish covers parts of Cavan and Fermanagh- as does Kinawley.

Vincent was my maternal grandfather. I've never been able to find anything of Maria's parents other than that they were James & Catherine & he was a builder. (Taken from James & Maria's marriage cert).
Any further help would be much appreciated.
