James Scott parentage info

I have James Scott's b cert and father is named as William Scott (b. 1856) a Colliery bankman and mother Elizabeth Ann Scott (nee Robson b. 1861). I am struggling to firm up their birth and marriage details. Can anyone help please?

I cant find the Marriage either of William/Elizabeth.

1881 Census William SCOTT born c 1856, Newbottle, Durham, is with his Sister Dorothy WATSON born c 1848, Newbottle.
This may help find him in earlier Census. (EDIT-done)

1871 he seems to be with Sister Hannah APPLEBY born c 1843, Houghton Le Spring, Durham. Also in the Household is JOHN Scott born c 1849, Newbottle another Brother for Hannah.
Putting this all together I found this possible 1861 Census;

Robert Lonsdall ROBSON, June 1869, Houghton, 10a 255, Age 52

Elizabeth is with Mary Ann (Mother) and Siblings age 10 in 1871 Census  and also in 1881 Census age 20.
Mary Ann probably died between 1881-1891 and there are a couple of possible Death Reg on FreeBMD

MATTHEW Robson and Wife Elizabeth may be on the 1851 census also and he is born c 1785, Lambley, Durham. Looks good as he is a Cordwainer(shoemaker) also.

1841 census Robert is at home with Matthew/Elizabeth and Siblings and also Elizabeths Parents
HO107/312/11/Houghton le Spring
If you have trouble with finding from Census Refs try looking in 1841 for;
Robert LONSDALE born c 1756, living in Houghton le Spring
(both Robert/Mary Londale are Not born in County, so Marriage may be elsewhere when looking for it)

Her christian name is spelt Elisabeth on freeBMD so perhaps that's why it didn't appear straight away for you. I wasn't being critical of you.
