Stanley LAND & his wife Linda Beulah WINDLE

Hi all,

Looking for info on the LAND family from Perth Australia. Stanley Land & his wife Linda Beulah Windle were married in Calcutta in 1945 and settled in Perth around 1946.

I believe they had a daughter (*).

Thanks for the info.  I was told when Linda died her husband Stanley moved to Jersey in the Channel Isles but can't find what happened to their daughter.

You might be able to find SKS who will look up  the newspapers to see if they was a furneral or death notice  that might include family names,  the daughter may have married and  her married name may be there

Was sent this obituary notice but it only states Daughter as Janine.

Her date of death is  30 May 1980 at Queens Park, Perth. She was cremated and her ashes placed at Karrakatta Cemetery, Crematorium Rose Gardens, Area WO, Site 0286.  "Land (Linda Beulah): Passed away at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital May 30, 1980, dearly beloved wife of Stan, loving mother of Janine. At rest." [West Australian, 2 June 1980]. "Land (Linda): Loved Aunty Posey of Raeburn and Melville Bellgard and their families. Deepest sympathy to Stan and Janine. Rest in Peace." [West Australian, 3 June 1980].

Perhaps a coincidence however the are only two listings with that surname and both have the same initials as mentioned in the notice.

I think (*) is living in Melbourne now. I have some additions and corrections for you on the group we are looking at. Here to begin with is the updated info on Lydia Frazer Bellgard.

Kathleen Lydia Bellgard died 11 February 1939 Calcutta, India. The cause of death was heart failure coupled with pleuro-pnemonia. She was buried the same day from St Thomas' Church, Calcutta.
