Hi all

I have a Margaret McCullough who married an Owens, possibly called Thomas of ballysnod.

Margaret is mentioned within the last will and testament of her brother Robert McCullough late of Ballygallough in 1871.

Other names mentioned are

William baird of clementshill possibly married to Helena baird otherwise stewart, Edward hunter of Little ballymena, William Fee of  Ballygallough and James mcmurty of bruslee all County farmers.

Roberts brother William was born at Ballysnod in 1806.

Has any one got a marriage between an Owens and McCullough possibly mid 1800's

Regards
Alan

That's interesting, because I have a Thomas Owens of Ballysnod, married to a Margaret, surname unknown. I don't have his date of birth or of death, but he was the son of William and Rachel Owens and his siblings' dates of birth were 1767, 1772 and 1777. Could this be your Margaret?

Hi Gillian

Unfortunately at the moment all I have to go on is that Margaret McCullough Owen(s) had two brothers. Robert McCullough 1807-1871 and William mccullough 1806-1883 William is my connection and I understand he was born in ballysnodd, Antrim.

It would appear that your owens were from an earlier time at Ballysnodd

Regards
Alan

Thanks for the links, Hallmark. There were records for several members of my family. However, when I tried clicking on Image for some of them there were no images matching the records for these people.
Also, I think I may have got the details for one of my family members incorrect, so I'll have to see about changing those.

Those with  Return Page No do not have Images at moment but will have 'some time' and one can use Link posted to check.

If one has an Image and it goes to wrong Image one needs to report it.

For McCullough one can use wildcard to allow for variations in spelling... e.g. McCull* after clicking on New Search
