JOSEPH EUGENE PLANT
« on: Thursday 04 August 11 13:11 BST (UK) »
Are there any relatives etc of Joseph Plant b. 1886 Dublin, d. 1980 in Florida, last known address Hibiscus Ave South Pasadena.  He left a wife Elizabeth and several nieces and nephews.  He had been a Chief Steward for the United Fruit Co and moved to Florida from the Bronx in 1970, He was a member of St John's Catholic Church.  I found this from his orbituary. He was first married to my great aunt, Mary who died in 1947 in New York City.  I would love to hear from anyone who remembers him and has anymore information other than that I have gleaned from Ancestry.com records etc.  A photo maybe?
Thanks a lot everyone

i have contacted RootsChat before about this chap.  Would love to hear from any of his nieces/nephews from his marriage to Elizabeth.  He was born in Dublin, lived in NY City and moved to Florida 1970, dying there in 1980, last address Hibiscus Ave South Pasadena.

He worked for the United Fruit Company as a ship's steward.  He was a member of the St John's Catholic Church.

I also would like to trace his marriage to Elizabeth (2nd marriage) it would have been after 1947 and probably before he moved to Florida.  Seen a photo on his naturalization papers.  Any more would be great.

Any help out there please?  Most grateful

Hello, are you pointing out the previous query I sent?  I didn't know how to refresh it and send it out again, hoping someone would notice it who didn't before, if that makes sense.
Sorry if I am making a mess of this.   Thombenn
