I am a bit puzzled about her death in kensington though I am intrigued to find out why she ended up so far from her family , especially  when she had her son norman and by  that time 2 grandsons in the north east of england ...........my family plot thickens , how unfortunate that I started this after my grandmother died so theres probably no way of knowing.

just checked the marriage cert for william and christina , and right enough its recorded as christian . Dont know how I never noticed this before , just goes to show many heads are better than one x

thanks every one for your help I have tracked christinas birth and death , cause and place of death ,
if any one could help with her husbands date and place of death it would be wonderful
william james hewitt born 1884/5 wigton northumberland, married christina wilson in 1906 one son norman george, last known address newburn hall newcastle/northumberland in 1912  x:)

Age at Death: 44

Fits with the registration district in 1911.


Possible birth for Christina,

Christina Thomson WILSON    Dec Q 1881    Alnwick Northumberland    10b  345

that would make her a bit older than 62 at her death, but people do fib about their age and the info. would only be as good as the informant at death knew.

However it doesn't fit with the 1911 age or Edinburgh birthplace
