Parish Registers
« on: Wednesday 03 August 11 15:55 BST (UK) »
If anyone has the parish records or access to the following areas, I would appreciate a look-up please.

Looking for:

Thomas Bevan b: 1850/51, Bedwelty, Monmouthshire.
Possibility could have been born whilst living in Victoria Iron Works or previously in 1841 the family were in Penmark, Sirhowy Iron Works.
Parents: Thomas Bevan & Sarah (Could be Pritchard surname)
Also:
Mary Bevan b: 1858, Victoria Iron Works, Ebbw Vale, Bedwelty
Parents: Thomas Bevan & Sarah (might be Pritchard)

or any names of children to the above parents.

Any help will be very much appreciated.
Gaynor

Many thanks for the census info, however I do already have it, my problem being I cannot trace this family in 1861 (possible missing pieces), so my next port of call was to try and obtain some of the children's birth records.
In 1871 there are more children but not certain it is the right connection, so my theory was to obtain a birth record for 1851 for Thomas and then a birth record for Mary (daughter born later) who appears on the 1871 Census, if the parents match then I have the right family.

Any further help is again really appreciated.  I really need a trip to the New Gwent Office but it is not open until probably the end of the year and I am not in the UK at present.

Again thanks
Gaynor
