John Warren 0f Marnhull
« on: Tuesday 02 August 11 08:58 BST (UK) »
John Warren [B 1617 d 1698] was the Parish Clerk of that village and he passed that work on to his son John Warren [b1658 d 1752] married Ruth. I am still trying to find John's [b 1617] birthplace. The Reverend Thomas Warren gives his birth as probably being in Ashburton, Devon. I have records of proof of his burial in Marnhull on January 29th 1698 from the Dorset records office.

This John is not related to the Sydling branch that were already incumbent in that village and I am hoping that someone can assist me in proving that John [b 1617] was or was not the son of Christopher Warren Rector of Ilsington, Devon and brother of Robert Warren, Rector of Maker and Rame in Cornwall c1668.
