McCOY/MILTON/FAULKNER Family

I am trying to find information on George Ernest McCoy born in 1914 and passed away in 1990.  Does anyone have any information on George or his wife Christinia Adelaide Milton.

I am also trying to find information on Ethel McCoy born 1912 who married Percival Smith Faulkner. All I know is Ethel passed away in 1994

I do not have much more information to go by.

Any assistance would be appreciated..

George's wife and two children are alive so I can't type the details here.

If yes there is a massive family tree on ancestry with photos of them all with records verifiying who there are.  Also giving details of grandparents, aunts, uncles etc.  If you don't have access to ancestry I suggest you join and message the tree owner which I will pm to you if details are correct.

Date of Enlistment was  28 Sep 1942 and his Locality on Enlistment MOUNT ISA  he enlisted at  BRISBANE, QLD

Thanks all: yes the tree on Ancestory is mine, I am trying to find out more on Christinia Adelaide Milton I have no birth date, can only go by her husbanb being born in 1914.. Trying to find Christinia around this date...   There son Barry McCoy died of leukaemia in 1973.. I am trying to find his burial records.. Hence more research on this particular branch.. I have no details on Christinia at all and cant find her parents etc

Census records are great, thanks..  This is how I am going by her name but cant for the life of me find her birth certificate anywhere or who her parents were. . Not sure why.. I know she married George Ernest and they had two children one who died at a young age.. I know they lived in Mt Isa, where George was first Mayor.. Why cant I find a birth certificate for her..

You can deduce from the years given that if she was voting in 1943, she was 21 years old or more.

The possible reason for your inability to find a birth record is that her birthdate falls after the closure of  open birthdate information in Australian states which (with rare, exceptions which do not apply to the Eastern States) is before 1920.
