Hi dettori28 & alataxan68
First an apology I did not mean to imply that I had not had any contact at all. Sent a PM to dettori28 with information relating to the three addresses. Have since looked at your web site & it really does make a difference to put a face to a name. This thread has been going on a long time & supplied me with a very detailed Family Tree of the Skelton Family living in America. Thanks for all the links to the various cemeteries.

Hello mtnative
Would be very interested in any information you may have regards descendants of William Skelton born Cumberland 1850 who Immigrated to America in 1865. William was my Grt. Grandfathers Josephs brother.

My dad is (*), great grandson of William Skelton born in Cumberland. Dad received an email and letter, but didn't respond because he wasn't sure who it was or if it was legit. So, what else can we tell you? Are you coming to the united states? My father has a ranch in white sulphur springs, not far from Standford where William Skelton pioneered. My Aunt (*) lives in white sulphur and their youngest sister passed away last year. We are a very close family and have a reunion every year on Labor day at the White sulphur rodeo. Most of the family live in montana, but I live in Lake Tahoe, on the border of California and Nevada. Are you on Facebook? I am leaving for the day but will check back later this evening.

I was in Montana in 2001 with my son. I wish we had made contact. I will let him know about this site if you don't mind. He is Robert Frisk> Daniel Frisk> Ray Frisk - married Nona Skelton>Alice Rafter Skelton -married Standford Walter Skelton.

I have some photo's but any more you may have would be wonderful. I did tons of genealogy on your family starting back in 1991. I have a Zip disk I can't access full of info from 10 years of research. I hope to recover the information some day.

Hello Mtphyl,

Welcome to Rootschat

Change of username since I was helping Woodlea with this family research.  You will need to make 3 posts before you can use the personal message system. I have made a note of your e-mail address and can pass it to Woodlea immediately for you. Or we can have a little chat to get you up to 3 replies if you like. Unfortunately we are not allowed to post e-mail addresses on Rootschat.

Regards
Sandra
