I know these messages are very old but hopefully someone is still tracking replies.
I am descended from Janet Tough born 1764 in Premnay. She is the daughter of William Tough and Janet Mearns (5x great grandparents). She married George Milne. My Milne family were residents of Dykenook farm which is just outside of Premnay.

Hello Smidget. I believe we are related! My 4xgt grandmother was Elizabeth Tough from Premnay. She married William Shirras from Keig. Although I haven't made a definite link with your tree, I have DNA in common with the William Tough/Janet Mearns family.
